Great location by the beach with a charming restaurant. Check-in after 4pm is inconvenient.

Thanks a lot everyone for a very nice stay in a beautiful town and breathtaking scenery. Choose king room with funky spa bath. I got essential facilities, like an electric kettle, central heating, and an electronic key card. The staff were amiable and the location was magnificent.

I had a king room and it was extremely pleasant and beautifully designed with a spacious bathroom. I had an electric kettle, central heating, and an electronic key card;))

Room decor felt tired, and some annoyances included limited hot water for bathing and no milk for tea.

Location is excellent, sea and cliff view is spectacular. Friendly staff, though not English speaking. Cosy bed and surprisingly strong hot shower though in a showeroom badly in need of renovation.
We stayed on top third floor with sea view. No warning that there wouldn't be a lift. Room was a clear conversion (and not a very good one) and hence not as large as rooms below, but it seems for the same price. Room was cool in spite of very hot radiator (located in the wrong place), shower room was freezing, as no heating there and with mouldy ceiling. We noticed some renovation works in the hotel, hopefully they'll address these issues. If renovated this could be a spectacular hotel.

direct ocean view, charming historical setting, variety of room options
Cleanliness could use improvement!!! The bathrooms need better maintenance, and the hairdryer seemed ancient!!! Don't expect much with soundproofing. You can hear everything from adjacent rooms!!! More consistent Wi-Fi would make a difference.

Located near sea (only 25 metres walk), breakfast ok.
Leaking shower, windows cold/windy, personnel neglects that you're not french-speaking.

View of the cliffs and the sunset from the balcony was spectacular. This hotel is right on the beach above the boardwalk.

Our room had a charming clean decor and a fantastic view of the ocean right from our window. The location is perfect, just steps from the waterfront, and the attached restaurant offered good meal options. We also appreciated the staff's excellent service .
strongly recommend

View from room window. Bed was comfortable.
Room very small, no indication that it would be on the 3rd floor with no lift & was nothing like any of the photos on the website. It was clean but badly needed refurbishing. The bathroom was small, shower screens falling off & didn't close properly, flooring looked dirty even though it wasn't, towels thin & small. No 24hour front desk. Got to the rooms through restaurant/bar (via door marked 'Toilettes'!). Very expensive for what it was. Didn't eat at the hotel, but did have coffee (4.50 euros per cup) on the terrace. Waitress wasn't welcoming but coffee OK. We were very disappointed & although booked for 5 nights only stayed for

Consider booking a room on the third floor for fine sea views and enjoy the waves from your balcony.

The hotel is close to the beach!!! We can listen the sound of the sea at night! And the restaurant of the hotel is in the front of the beach! Best beach of Normandia (france)
There is no elevator. We need to climbe the stars to arrive in the room

Very nice stay, as always. Wonderful hotel with sea views on the beach with a great sea view and absolutely courteous and excellent staff. Stunning and lovely location not far from the beach, several restaurants and bars, the seaside and all the beatiful cliffs, GOOD food. And right at Plage D'etretat.
